U.S. Government Launches 100,000 Strong in the Americas Education Advising Center at Benjamin Franklin Library

Mexico City, July 30, 2012 – Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns joined Secretary of Education Jose Angel Cordova Villalobos, Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Roberta S. Jacobson, and U.S Ambassador to Mexico Anthony Wayne at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Benjamin Franklin Library to inaugurate an advising center intended to assist students interested in studying in the United States, contributing to President Obama’s goal of growing educational exchange opportunities for students in the Americas.
